GeoMeetUp

GeoMeetup connects short text messages to real places. Be there to post and discover what people nearby have written. Each message stays at its posting location as its author moves on. Explore the map to see approximate areas with public messages. Reading other people's ordinary public messages requires you to be nearby. The distance slider filters the list from 10 to 500 metres, while the date control selects a time window. Moving the map does not move your real location or unlock distant content. Keep a footprint private or make it public. Reply publicly or privately to a public message. Once a branch becomes private, its later replies remain private. Exchanges have a limited number of replies; there are no permanent friend lists. You can read your own footprints and permitted responses from elsewhere. Messages and responses are text only. Sign in with Apple without filling in a separate registration form. Your Apple identifier is not public, and an existing post does not reveal your changing current location. GeoMeetup does not continuously track your location in the background. For users aged 18 and over. In-app reporting, blocking, privacy information and account deletion are available. Existing GeoMeetup users can import their own old text footprints once; old conversations, photos and recordings are not imported.
