in-yc

in—yc is your local arts scene on a map, on an app, nothing buried behind algorithms.
find gallery openings, live music, performances, exhibitions, pop-ups, open mics, and more — all searchable by category, borough, neighborhood, price, and source. no algorithm. no boosted posts. no sponsored placements. no pay-to-play visibility. every event appears on the map equally.
artists, venues, and small businesses can post their own events directly, giving local culture a place to be seen without relying on social media, biased ticketing platforms, or word of mouth. we vet posts to make sure they’re real, local, and genuine — then let the city speak for itself.
for locals, it’s a simpler way to find what’s happening nearby. for visitors, it’s a way into the city beyond the obvious. for artists and small businesses, it’s a grassroots tool to reach the people who actually want to show up.
in—yc starts with NYC. next, we’re building a local guide to the arts in—your—city.
