ActVnet

During an emergency, there is chaos and confusion. ActVnet is a program that offers real-time communication and situational awareness to bring order out of chaos and reduce confusion. Created as a tool for emergency personnel, ActVnet contains crucial information about a site’s staff and students, emergency procedures, building floor plans, and shut-off valves. It also enables officials to communicate directly with staff and families. Beyond aiding first responders, school administrators and staff benefit immensely from centralized vital information. The staff can seamlessly communicate their locations and the welfare of their students, enabling administrators to assist in reuniting families when necessary. Moreover, the platform empowers site personnel and first responders to identify hazards, and threats, and locate individuals needing medical assistance in real-time. Instant updates are readily available, providing all parties with a clear understanding of the situation. ActVnet is a flexible solution that operates equally well on mobile devices, computers, cell networks, and the internet, making it an essential asset for school districts and first responders everywhere.
