Ecobarter: Waste as a currency

Earn points to withdraw as cash, shop, pay bills, or pay for a cause, every time you give your waste to Ecobarter. Ecobarter is Nigeria's most reliable platform to conveniently recycle and use your waste as a social currency. How does it work? 1) Request a pickup for your recyclable waste: In seconds, tap on the "Recycle tab >> Request Pickup" to schedule your doorstep pickup. A last-mile collector will be assigned to come to you on scheduled days to collect, weigh, and record the value of your waste. A monthly pickup calendar is shared in the app and via other communication channels. We collect everyday waste materials like plastics, paper, cartons, nylons, metals, etc 2) Points earned in your wallet; You earn points for every kilogram (kg) of waste you recycle with Ecobarter. You can click on "Wallets" to withdraw your points directly into your bank accounts, transfer to a friend on the app, shop on the Ecobarter marketplace, pay bills, buy airtime, or pay for a cause. Points are automatically generated and assigned once the designated last-mile collector picks up from you. Points per kg for different acceptable material types are listed in the FAQ. With 1 point currently worth N20, you can easily earn enough to foot your call and airtime bills or pay for basic social services, etc, by simply recycling your waste. Before you think of trashing your waste, think of recycling, as your waste is a currency we value. Happy Recycling
