Why I Made This App: My journey with ActionLog began when my child was about two years old, playing with a ball in the park. Witnessing their natural skill, I envisioned a future where they could reach heights like Messi. This moment sparked the idea for ActionLog—a consumer-focused GPS tool to nurture potential in young players. Existing GPS technologies, predominantly available only to professionals and priced beyond the average consumer's reach, seemed inaccessible for amateur use. I saw an opportunity to democratize this technology, making it easy and affordable for every young player and parent to track and enhance soccer skills. Our Goals: Skill Improvement: Using GPS data, we make it possible to measure and enhance specific soccer skills, embracing the adage, "What can be measured, can be improved." Cultivating Independence: Beyond soccer, we focus on developing critical thinking and independent decision-making, skills that are beneficial in all walks of life. By transforming quantitative data into actionable insights and tangible improvements, ActionLog aims to not only advance soccer skills but also foster personal growth and independence in young athletes.
