In the wake of a disaster, Local Relief is a desperately needed social hub for: * Local disaster information and resources * Locals wanting to contribute, donate, or volunteer * Nonprofits, organizations, and volunteers with boots on the ground Local Relief is, The Local Support Hub for Natural Disasters. When a disaster strikes, it’s scary, it’s devastating, and until you’ve experienced it, you don’t realize how insanely unorganized it is. Whether you’re searching for a generator, wondering if local roads are flooded, or if you’re curious if schools are closed, you’re not the only one with questions. Your neighbors are wondering the exact same thing. Information you can post in your city group includes where to purchase supplies, road closures, power outages, sandbag collections, food drives, lost and found pets, local flooding, you name it! After the disaster has passed, Local Relief provides the platform to share your needs, updates, and information on local organizations with boots on the ground.
