About cetera - social for everything
THE SOCIAL FOR EVERYTHING. yes, everything. Cetera is a low-pressure social where you and your friends can share daily thoughts, media, and life updates without pressure to perform. Post about your morning coffee, a random thought, the song on repeat, your favorite show, etc... the big stuff AND the small stuff. HOW CETERA WORKS 1. Make a post that fits the moment: add photos, songs, weather, movies, books, and more. 2. Choose who sees it (everyone, friends, close friends, or just you) and how long it stays up. 3. Keep the convo going: comment, reply to start a private chat, or create a group chat. WHAT YOU’LL FIND ON CETERA • Posts that look good, even when you don’t have ‘the perfect photo’ • Emoji reactions on posts and messages • A friends-only feed for your community and discovery feeds for meeting new people • Privacy controls that are simple and flexible • A profile that you can customize with colorful backgrounds and more Inclusive by design and queer-created. What’s new
Version 3.1.1 · Updated September 21, 2026
egge is now Cetera! New name, same incredible community. We love you all so much and we're so grateful for your support. Plus, a TON of great highly-requested features. Features: • A smarter feed: Our new "explore" feed learns what you love so you can build your community, while still keeping you connected to your friends. • Post drafts: Never lose a post again. Posts you're in the middle of writing are saved automatically, and you can save drafts to finish later. Keep up to 5, or 50 with Supporter. • Images in comments: Finally, reply with cat pics in the comments. • A better first impression: Redesigned onboarding experience with an improved tutorial and a beautiful new animation. Design & polish: • Liquid glass design on iOS for a sleeker, more modern feel • Improved profile backgrounds • Better text scaling throughout the app for improved accessibility Safety & privacy: • Improved blocking that's safer and more seamless • Enhanced safety protections for minors • Mark content as mature to show only to adults who opt-in • Bulk restrict who can see your past posts from settings • New private view for "only me" posts on your profile • A simpler and clearer reporting flow Fixes & improvements: • Reactions now stay perfectly in sync everywhere a post appears • Notifications are retracted when the content they point to is removed or deleted • Switching between accounts is now more stable • Fixed a bug where posting media with a long title prevented upload, go ahead and Cell Block Tango!
