Dad Finder

Dad Finder is a compass that points to someone you love. No map. No pins. No feed. Just one needle that turns toward Dad, wherever he is, and shows how far away he is. One glance and the kids at home know: that way, 4,712 miles. BUILT BY A PILOT DAD I'm a commercial pilot, and my job keeps me away from home for days, sometimes weeks. A dot on a map never helped my kids feel closer. So I built a compass. When they miss me, they look at it, and it points to me. That's the whole idea. HOW IT WORKS • Install Dad Finder on the phone of the person who travels. That's the Dad phone. • Install it on the phones at home, enter the Dad phone's Device ID, and the compass points to him. • Or set Home on the Dad phone and it shows the way back. • Rename "Dad" to Mom, Grandpa or anyone you like. Choose kilometers or miles. • With Premium, add the Dad Finder widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen and see the way to Dad without opening the app. • On Apple Watch, the needle turns with your wrist and points the way to Dad. Put it on your watch face as a complication. FOR FAMILIES WHO LIVE APART FOR A WHILE Pilots and flight crews. Military families during deployment. Truck drivers, sailors, offshore and rotation workers. Parents who travel for work. Grandparents across the country. Long-distance couples. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No sign-up, no email, no contact list. Devices pair with a Device ID. • No map of your movements. The compass shows only direction and distance. • Your location travels over encrypted connections. • Delete your account and data at any time with one tap in Help. FREE AND PREMIUM Dad Finder is free to use. Without Premium, the Dad phone updates its position once a day when you open the app. Premium keeps the compass current with automatic background updates, adds the Home Screen and Lock Screen widget and the Apple Watch app, and syncs to as many devices as you like, including the Dad Compass. Only the Dad phone needs Premium for updates; the widget and the Apple Watch app are available on each phone with Premium. • Monthly plan with a 1-week free trial, or yearly plan with a 1-month free trial. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. THE DAD COMPASS Prefer something on the shelf instead of a screen? The Dad Compass is a handcrafted, WiFi-connected desk compass that I assemble and program myself. It sits at home and always points to you, with no phone needed on their side. Every Dad Compass comes with 2 years of Premium. Order it from inside the app. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://www.cuesoft.org/df-pp/
