Global Position displays the measured accuracy of your current fix in metres, colour-coded Good, Fair or Poor, so you know whether to trust it before you act. You can also choose how hard the GPS works: High for navigation, Medium for everyday use or Low when conserving battery matters more than maximum precision. SHARE YOUR POSITION One tap sends an Apple Maps link that opens on any phone or computer, together with your address, coordinates in your chosen format, grid reference (MGRS, UTM or UPS), altitude, accuracy and the local time of the fix, so the person receiving it knows exactly where you are and how reliable the reading is.
