Ask Llama - Questions kids ask

Some people ask Google. Parents ask Llama. Ask Llama has answers to hundreds of the questions curious kids love to ask, from "Why is the sky blue?" to "Where do babies come from?". Every answer comes with a picture-book illustration and can be read aloud, so you can wonder about the world together. ONE QUESTION, THREE ANSWERS Every question is answered three ways, for a 3, 5 and 8 year old. The youngest answer uses short sentences and things a toddler can see and touch; the oldest explains how things work, with real words explained along the way. Switch ages with one tap. READ IT ALOUD Tap "Read it aloud" and Llama reads the answer in a warm, gentle voice. Choose between two voices in settings. EXPLORE BY SUBJECT Animals, nature, space, science, food, transportation, your body and everyday life, with new questions added all the time. SEARCH THAT UNDERSTANDS Type the question the way your child asked it. Search understands what you mean, not just the exact words. ASK YOUR OWN QUESTION Can't find it? Ask Llama. Many everyday questions get an answer within a minute; others are reviewed by our team first and added soon after. HOW ANSWERS ARE WRITTEN Answers are drafted with the help of AI using writing guides for each age, then checked for accuracy and for topics that need extra care. Answers about sensitive subjects are always reviewed by our team before they appear, and new answers our team hasn't checked yet are clearly marked. SUPPORT THE LLAMA Enjoying Ask Llama? We wanted an app that could answer her endless questions and help her learn about the world around her, and we hope your family enjoys it as much as ours does.
