What’s new
Version 6.0.0 · Updated October 7, 2026
Sign-in and security • Sign-in is faster and more reliable. The progress screen now stays up until your home screen opens. • Fixed an issue where Google sign-in sometimes failed. • If your session expires, you're taken back to the sign-in screen with a clear message instead of seeing errors. • Signing out on one device no longer signs you out of the app on another device. • Improved device-limit screen: see your signed-in devices and sign one out easily. • New OTP chooser: pick exactly which mobile numbers and emails (yours and your parents') get your code by SMS, WhatsApp or Email. Only options that are available are shown. • Switching profiles and logging out work more smoothly, with a new sign-out screen. Notifications • Notifications now arrive reliably for every child or profile on the device. • Fixed a crash when showing notifications. • Redesigned notification settings and list. • Notification channels update automatically when your school changes them. Reliability • If the main server is unreachable, the app now switches to a backup server automatically, without signing you out. It switches back once the main server is available again. • Fewer blank screens: a maintenance page is shown when the server is down. • Better privacy: sensitive details are no longer written to device logs. • Smaller app with unused components removed, plus general bug fixes and performance improvements.
