Formerly Food Sharing, the app now makes room for more ways to help nearby. SHARE FOOD, WASTE LESS Have a few extra apples or a spare pack of rice? Share surplus food while it can still be enjoyed. Add photos, food details and pickup times so someone nearby can decide whether it is right for them. GIVE THINGS A NEW HOME Pass on books, toys, clothing, tools and household items you no longer need. Choose “Giveaway”, describe the condition and any defects, and arrange a handover. Your spare things may be just what a neighbor is looking for. NEED IT ONCE? BORROW IT A drill for a weekend project or a game for an evening: some things are useful without owning them. Choose “Loan” to lend an item for free. Borrowers select a duration, and both people arrange pickup and return in chat. The owner confirms when the item is back. No rental fees or deposits. FIND WHAT IS NEARBY Browse Food and Things in separate tabs. Explore both on the map or filter by type, including giveaways and loans. Search listings, save searches with your preferred radius and keep interesting finds in your favorites. START WITH A PHOTO Create a draft before signing in. Add photos and the details that matter, then sign in when you are ready to publish. Your draft stays saved on this device, so you can return to it later. KEEP ARRANGEMENTS TOGETHER Ask questions and agree on the handover in chat. For borrowed things, keep track of the agreed duration, return date and status in the same conversation. SEE YOUR CONTRIBUTION Your profile brings together completed food handovers, things given away and loans completed with a confirmed return. Small acts of sharing can help reduce waste, keep useful things in use and connect a neighborhood.
