Wood & Washi presents exclusive window systems with Japanese Washi paper. Our systems are an innovative, environmentally friendly and high-tech substitution for traditional curtains and blinds. We offer exclusive solutions for decorating rooms and window spaces from traditional Japanese Washi paper. Roller blinds, sliding panels, vertical blinds, and the Flow system are made in a minimalist style and meet modern design and architecture requirements. More than 1300 years ago, in the Land of the Rising Sun, an unparalleled material was created - Washi paper. The secret of its manufacture was passed down by skilful craftsmen through generations. Washi was not only versatile and of exceptional quality, but also reflected the soul and spirit of its creator. Washi paper was used for writing, making movable shoji partitions, lamps and other interior elements. Over time, the rumor about the magnificent handmade material used, among other things, for the decoration of the imperial chambers, went far beyond Japan. In 1998, the Wood & Washi company managed to combine the unique tradition of Japanese craftsmen and the universality of the European style. Wood & Washi itself is known and recognized in Europe since 1998, it has taken its rightful place in the sphere of interior design due to the consistently high quality of handicrafts.
