About Act-Gen
A genetic result can answer one question—and immediately create ten more. What does this mean for me? What screenings do I need? When should I start? How often do I need them? What should I ask my doctor? ACT-GEN helps turn those questions into a plan you can understand and act on. Built for people with Lynch syndrome or BRCA-related hereditary cancer risk, ACT-GEN brings education, prevention strategies, appointments, and trusted resources together in one place—so your care feels less scattered and easier to navigate. With ACT-GEN, you can: - Understand your condition with clear, visual education about Lynch syndrome, BRCA-related risk, and why preventive care matters. - Build your prevention plan with screening and prevention strategies based on your age and genetic variant. - Know why each strategy matters and when it may be recommended. - Stay on top of your care by tracking upcoming, to-schedule, and overdue appointments. - Prepare for appointments with saved preparation notes and questions for your provider. - Capture key visit details including notes, results, voice recordings, and changes to your prevention plan. - Learn from doctor-vetted resources about screening, prevention, cascade testing, risk-reducing surgery, and more. Your genetic risk is part of your story. ACT-GEN helps you understand what comes next and keep moving forward, one step at a time. ACT-GEN is designed to support—not replace—the relationship between you and your healthcare team. What’s new
Version 2.0.2 · Updated October 5, 2026
What's New in Version 2.0.2 • Smarter prevention strategies after surgery — If you've had a risk-reducing surgery, related strategies are now unchecked instead of hidden, so you can still choose them if you want. • Clearer overdue screening alerts — Screenings now show as overdue right away when they're due, with no unnecessary waiting period. • Consistent strategy recommendations throughout setup — Strategies affected by a completed surgery are now correctly hidden across all steps of the setup process, not just the first one. • Improved surgery suppression rules — Having a mastectomy now also removes risk-reducing medications from your recommendations, keeping your plan accurate and relevant. • Bug fixes and performance improvements
