About BC Wallet

BC Wallet is different from mainstream digital wallets that most people will currently not have a use for. For online service access today, use the BC Services Card app. BC Wallet lets you receive, verify and present digital credentials with participating services on your smartphone or tablet. Digital credentials are the electronic equivalent of physical credentials such as certifications and permits offered by participating services. They are highly secure and easy to use. Only a small number of digital credentials are currently available. They are mostly for pilot projects. Privacy is a key design consideration for BC Wallet. We are not told when you use digital credentials in your BC Wallet, unless you are using those credentials to interact with us. We do not record any analytics for BC Wallet. You approve every use of your digital credentials, and only provide the information that’s needed. BC Wallet is based on open standards and technologies.
