What’s new

Version 3.2.6 · Updated October 6, 2026

Send your chords anywhere Chordio now gives you full control over MIDI output. Choose where your chord progressions go: Audiobus, AUM, Ableton Live, a USB interface, a Bluetooth device, or a Network Session over Wi-Fi. Send to several destinations at once, and give chords, bass and drums their own MIDI channels so each part records on its own track. New: MIDI Sync Follow the tempo and beat of Ableton Live or any app that sends MIDI clock. Press Play in your DAW and your progression starts on the downbeat. Press Stop and it stops. MIDI Start, Stop and Machine Control (MMC) are supported. Prefer to lead? Chordio can send its own clock to other apps and gear. More improvements A live sync card shows the tempo you are following and lights up on every beat A handy Sync badge on the main screen shows the current status at a glance Other apps can now play Chordio through its own "Chordio" MIDI input Network Session devices now appear in your list of MIDI inputs Chord progressions now keep playing reliably when other music apps are in the foreground Fixed an issue where bass notes could cut off the chords during playback Thank you for all your feedback and support. Keep it coming!
