Air Sports Live Tracking

Air Sports Live Tracking turns your phone into a competition tracker. Fly your task, and organizers, crew and spectators follow you live on the map at https://airsports.no, with real-time scoring. Intended for General Aviation and entertainment use. FLY YOUR COMPETITION • Your phone reports your position every second to the competition tracking platform, so your flight is scored live. • Works with Precision Flying, Rally Flying and Air Navigation Racing, according to the FAI rules, and with other task types the platform supports, such as poker runs. • Tracking keeps running with the screen off or while you use other apps. • See your own score while you fly, where the organizer shows live results. BEFORE YOU FLY • Home shows the flight you are tracking now, or your next one: contest and task, tracking window, take-off time, airspeed and wind. • Pre-flight check: location, clock, subscription and your flight, all in one list. • Open your flight orders from the app and share a live link with friends and family. • Register for a competition flight through the organizer's link, and cancel a flight you no longer want, where the organizer allows it. DURING THE FLIGHT • Start timer for adaptive-start tasks, with a countdown buffer of your choice. • Training mode: see how early or late you passed each gate, as you fly. • Photo observations: mark the photos you recognise on your track. Marks are stamped with your position and time. • Warnings when something is wrong, for example when no positions reach the server. AFTER THE FLIGHT • Your score and your finished flights. • Track history with GPX export for your own flight analysis. STAY INFORMED • Messages from the organizers appear on Home, with push notifications for important events. FOR SOCIAL EVENTS The Air Sports platform also supports social events: • Pilot poker run: a friendly event on a route that covers a set of airports. Each aircraft receives a playing card at every airport, and the best poker hand wins. • Host an informal ANR competition during a weekend fly-in. BE AN ORGANIZER Creating your own competitions on the Air Sports web platform is free of charge. IMPORTANT • The app needs an active mobile data plan, adequate coverage in your flying area, and a place for the phone with a clear view of the sky. • A subscription is required to start live tracking. It is billed and managed by the store, and you can cancel at any time. A subscription that ends while you are flying never stops your tracking. • Live tracking is for entertainment use only and is not a navigation aid. See the Terms and Conditions for more information.
