RyeDC: Mileage Tracker for Tax

RyeDC is a free automatic mileage tracker and mileage log for drivers who deduct their car expenses. Switch tracking on once and every drive in your car is recorded on its own, filed as business by default and ready to print as the record the IRS asks you to keep, whether you take the standard mileage rate or deduct actual car expenses. MILEAGE LOG - your mileage record, in one document • The Vehicle logbook holds what the IRS asks you to record for every trip: the date, the miles, the destination and the business purpose, with the odometer at each end of the period and of every trip, the car's make, model and registration, and when each entry was made. • Business miles as a share of all miles, measured against how far the odometer moved, so a missed drive never inflates your deduction. • A business purpose on every business trip, with a default you set once. • Correct an entry freely for a week. After that, every change is listed in the log. • Tax year, weekly, monthly or any dates you choose, as PDF and Excel for your tax preparer. • As many cars as you like, each with its own log. • Find the twelve weeks that best represent your year, tested against the rest of it. LIVE FARE METER - the price in real time • See the fare during the trip, not at the end: distance, time and fare together, with the route on the map. The fare stays on the lock screen. • Set up a rate card for each service you drive for and switch between them. • Quote a trip before it starts, then use the quote as the agreed price. • Earnings for every service by week, month or tax year, as PDF and Excel. • Add surge, top-ups and tolls during a trip and tips afterwards. AROUND ME - places drivers share A map of places other drivers have marked and rated: restrooms, surge locations and street food.
