Findpet - smart pet registry

Findpet is the smart pet identification and reunification app designed to help protect your pet before they go missing — and help bring them home if they do. Create a complete identification profile for your pet, register their microchip for free for life, add photos and distinctive identifying features, and access powerful lost-and-found tools right from your phone. MORE THAN A MICROCHIP REGISTRY A microchip is one of the most important forms of permanent pet identification, but it works best when the registration is current and easy to locate. Findpet adds additional layers of identification and recovery tools to help give your pet more ways to get home. With Findpet, you can: • Register a pet microchip from any brand for free for life • Keep your pet and owner contact information up to date • Make your Findpet microchip registration discoverable through the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool • Build a visual identification profile using photos from multiple angles • Add your pet’s unique markings, coat colors, patterns, and other distinguishing features • Use nose print identification for dogs • Report a pet lost or found • Search for potentially matching pets using photos • Generate lost pet flyers to share in your neighborhood • Receive automated alerts about potentially similar pets reported found or listed by shelters in your area, where available MULTI-LAYER PET IDENTIFICATION Every pet is unique. Findpet complements traditional microchip identification with advanced visual identification tools, including full-body pet recognition, unique markings and coat pattern matching, and nose print identification for dogs. Together, these tools create a richer identification profile that can help match lost and found pet reports even when a microchip number is not immediately available. SMART LOST PET SEARCH If your pet goes missing, Findpet gives you tools to act quickly. Create a lost pet report, add multiple photos, search for similar found pets, generate a shareable lost pet flyer, and use Findpet’s matching technology to look for potential matches. Optional Findpet Premium features can also provide automated alerts when potentially similar pets are reported found or appear in available shelter data. FOUND A PET? Findpet helps the finder become part of the reunification process too. Create a found pet report, upload photos and identifying details, and add a microchip number after the pet has been scanned by a veterinarian, shelter, animal control agency, or other equipped organization. Findpet can then use the available identification information to help connect lost and found reports and reunite pets with their families. BE READY BEFORE YOUR PET GOES MISSING The best time to prepare for a lost pet emergency is before it happens. Create your pet’s Findpet profile, register their microchip, add identifying photos and keep your information current — so if your pet ever goes missing, you already have the tools you need to start searching. Our mission is simple: help more lost pets get back home.
