Juice Radio | Belfast

Juice Radio is Belfast's dance, pop and R&B station on 103.8FM — and this is the app that carries it with you. Press play and you're on air with the station: the same 103.8FM simulcast heard across the city, in the kitchen, in the car, or three time zones away. WHAT'S PLAYING, AS IT PLAYS Every track named as it goes out, with the cover art alongside it. Titles are timed to land with the music rather than ahead of it, so what's on screen is what's in your ears. Missed something? Recently played keeps seven days of the log, and a tap takes you to the track. THE SCHEDULE Every show, every day of the week, with what's on air marked as it happens. Breakfast with the alarm, Drive on the way home, and the weekend where you left it. AROUND THE HOUSE AND ON THE ROAD AirPlay it to a HomePod, a speaker or an Apple TV. Or cast to a Chromecast, a TV or a smart display and the whole screen becomes the station — cover art, what's on now, what's just played and what's coming up, all following the music without a break in it. CarPlay puts the station on the dashboard, with the schedule and recently played a glance away. Lock screen, Control Centre and headphone controls work the way you'd expect, so a steering-wheel button does what it should. Take a call and the radio drops out and picks itself back up on its own. Pull your headphones out and it stops, rather than carrying on through the speaker. BUILT FOR A REAL CONNECTION Radio should survive a tunnel. The stream reconnects by itself after a dropout, rejoins live rather than replaying what you missed, and keeps going with the phone locked. Choose your quality: 320 kbps for the good speakers, 128 for everyday, 48 when you're watching the data. Data saver can hold the small stream automatically whenever you're on mobile data, so you never have to remember. A SLEEP TIMER THAT SUITS RADIO Fifteen, thirty or sixty minutes — or the end of the hour, for when you want the news and then quiet. NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP Open it and it plays. That's the whole thing. 103.8FM in Belfast, and everywhere else right here.
