About RedCalendar — Cycle Tracker
Try our app for following your cycle: analysis and predictions for periods, ovulation and fertile days. We won’t ask you to rate your mood swings, drink water, or look at your step count and hours of sleep. But you can note anything you like about any day, if you want to yourself. The app is cloud-based: no need to think about backups or space in iCloud. If it comes to it, RedCalendar works in airplane mode too, so you can add your data and sync it later, once you’re back online. One account works on several devices, and you sign in with email. ANALYSIS AND PREDICTIONS We use the median of the data you enter to work out your cycle. It’s better than the average, and more honest than talk of artificial intelligence. The app adapts to you: cycle length and period length are refined from the cycles you’ve recorded most recently, and once you confirm a day of ovulation, it counts towards the prediction too. While there are only a few recorded cycles, the app keeps the values you set yourself. You can change them in settings at any time. EVERY DAY Any day opens with a tap right in the calendar. Mark the start and end of your period, note the flow, confirm ovulation or pick its day yourself, leave a comment. REMINDERS We send notifications at 9:00 and only when there’s a reason: 2 days before your cycle starts, a day after your period ends (in case you forgot to mark it), and 4 days before expected ovulation. If you’ve gone on holiday and your time zone has changed, just open the app — it takes care of the rest. Notifications are turned off with a single switch in settings. TAGS Use tags to add anything else about your day. Just pick one or several and keep track of workouts, mood or new habits. You can create and rename your own tags. STATISTICS If you want more numbers: cycle length, period length and your cycle history over 6 months, a year or all time. APPEARANCE Three accent colors and a dark theme.
What’s new
Version 3.0.1 · Updated October 18, 2026
This is a completely new app: the calendar, the sync and every screen have been rebuilt from scratch. All your data is here — cycles, marks and comments are carried over from the previous version the first time you sign in. A new calendar • Pick any day right in the calendar — the day card opens on it, and a swipe moves it along • Period, fertile window and ovulation predictions right in the grid: confirmed days are filled, predictions are outlined Your day • Mark a period as started or ended in one tap • Flow: light, moderate or heavy • Ovulation: automatic, confirmed, a day you pick yourself, or none • Comments and your own tags for symptoms, mood and anything worth remembering • Mark a new period as started while the previous one was never ended, and it is confirmed for you Statistics • Average cycle length and average period length over 6 months, a year or all time • Cycle history with a chart Sync and devices • Everything works offline — your changes reach the server on their own once there is a connection • One account on several devices, with a list of the sessions that are active • Sign in with email Predictions refine themselves Cycle length, period length and the luteal phase are measured from the cycles you record. You can still set the values yourself in your profile. Notifications Reminders for the start and end of your period and for ovulation. One switch turns them off. Appearance Three accent colors — coral, rose and berry — and a dark theme. If you used to sign in with a phone number, add an email in your profile to be sure you keep access to your account.
