ASE Connects

With fewer young people enrolling in technician programs and more qualified technicians leaving the industry, there is no denying the growing shortage of technicians. The ASE Connects app helps to promote & improve careers in automotive, diesel, and collision. Use the ASE Connects mobile app to: - Participate on Shop Talk - Shop Talk is ASE’s online community for professionals working in the automotive and diesel industries. Answer poll questions, interact with shops and other industry professionals, and see what schools are up to. - Track Industry Certifications and Trainings - Store all of your completed certifications and trainings in one convenient location. Whether it is an ASE certification, an OEM completed course, or some other industry completion, keeping it all in the ASE Connects app allows you to have one central place to show off your skills and awards. - Explore Technician Pay - ASE’s Technician Pay Comparison Tool allows technicians to search technician pay rates by location, industry, and years of experience. - Student Profiles - For those just entering the industry, use our student profiles to connect with local shops & dealers. Answer a few questions and we'll create a professional resume for you. You can then (optionally) publish that within the app so employers can contact you if interested in job shadows, part time work while in school, apprenticeships, or full time employment after graduation.
