Cosmic Lasso

Draw a loop around two or more orbitals of the same color to catch them. Clear the sky, but don't leave one behind. Cosmic Lasso is a calm color puzzle with a lo-fi soundtrack. It started in 2020 as a small game to help with relaxing during a turbulent time. Version 2.0 rebuilds it from the ground up with a new puzzle every day, a rope you can feel, and a game everyone can play. A NEW PUZZLE EVERY DAY • Cosmic Daily: one puzzle a day, the same for everyone. • Weekday twists like Monochrome Monday and Triad Tuesday. • Keep a streak, share a spoiler-free emoji grid, and compare scores with friends. WAYS TO PLAY • 50 levels across five galaxies, each ending in a boss. • Survival: the sky fills up faster the longer you last. • Zen: no timer and no way to fail. Just you, a lasso and the music. • Constellations: 30 untimed puzzles. Clear each one in as few loops as you can. • Duel: a 60-second sprint. • Tonight's Sky Rodeo: the real stars over your head become the level. The orbital colors match the colors of real stars. FEELS GREAT • The music sets the beat. Close your lasso on it for bonus points. • Bigger loops and quick chains score more. • Supernovas, black holes, prisms, comets and more. • Haptics you can feel in the rope, and smooth 120 Hz drawing on ProMotion displays. PLAY YOUR WAY • Every orbital has a shape as well as a color, so you never have to tell colors apart. • A color-blind friendly palette, a left-handed layout and Reduce Motion support. • Assists: slow the orbitals down, add time, or turn failing off. • Pause any time. The clock stops when you do. AND MORE • Game Center leaderboards and achievements. • Widgets for the Daily and your streak, plus a Quick Lasso control. • Progress syncs through iCloud. • Build your own levels and share them with a link. • Apple Pencil Pro and game controller support. FREE AND FAIR Cosmic Lasso is free, with no ads and no subscription. The original 50 levels stay free forever. Cosmic Lasso+ is a single purchase that unlocks the full Daily archive, extra lasso trails and extended stats. There's also a tip jar if you'd like to say thanks. A NOTE FROM ME Hi there! I taught myself iOS development in 2020 to make something calming, and Cosmic Lasso was the result. Back then I said I hoped to keep it updated with more levels, features and bug fixes. It took a while, but here it is. I hope it helps you relax. Elliot Music from Splice Sounds.
