Companion

KnowMe Companion is an expression application to promote inclusion and increased quality of life among people with communication difficulties. The app is ACC-tool (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) specially targeted for people where their own expressions are their only form of short-range communication. By gathering, analyzing and creating a system of the person's expressions, routine, activities and interest in one place ensures that the activities are performed correctly and that the person's expressions are correctly understood, always. KnowMe Companion ensures a better flow in the transfer of valuable knowledge and experiences between assistants, professionals and parents, securing the person's communication for life. KnowMe Companion works in an ACC-system together with a total of three applications; Observer (app), Creator (web) and Companion (app). In the Observer-app you can take photos or video recordings of different situations around the person and send them directly to Creator where you organize, analyze and create new content. New content is published back to the Companion-app for use in interaction with the person owning the system.
