About Todorant

Productivity systems fail. Todorant works. Todorant is a todo manager that uses behavioral psychology to help you get things done. A carefully tuned set of limits and praise teaches the primitive part of your brain to crave completed tasks the way people crave sugar. Most productivity apps are great at storing, organizing and automating endless lists of tasks, and that is exactly where they fail you, because a list that keeps growing doesn't get anything done. Todorant cares about the one thing that matters, which is finishing what you planned. It does that with four simple rules: — Focus on one task at a time. The Current screen shows only the todo you should be doing right now, so you never stare at a wall of tasks wondering where to start. — Always add a date or a month to a task. Every todo gets its place in time, so nothing lingers forever in a "someday" list that you never open. — Complete unpleasant tasks first. Mark the todos you dread as frogs and Todorant puts them before everything else on their day, while your willpower is still fresh. — Keep your inbox empty. Overdue todos have to be planned again before you can get back to work, so you always know what to do now and when everything else will be done. What's inside: — Realtime sync between your iPhone, iPad and the web app at todorant.com, with offline support and conflict resolution that keeps changes made on two devices at once. — End-to-end encryption of your todos with a password of your choice. — Delegation, to hand todos to friends and colleagues and accept the ones they hand to you. — Hashtags and epics to group related work, and reports of everything you've completed. — A Telegram bot that turns messages into todos. — Six languages and a dark mode. — Your own server, if you prefer: Todorant is open source and you can host it yourself in a couple of minutes, then point the app at it from Settings. Why does it work? Todorant grew out of more than twenty productivity books and methodologies. Each of them either lacked something important or was too complicated to stick with, so the parts that worked were combined and simplified into a single system that you can learn in a minute. Todorant doesn't overwhelm the "smart" part of your brain, appeals to the "primitive" one and never makes you anxious about the things you haven't done yet. Todorant is free, with no ads and no subscriptions. Privacy policy: https://todorant.com/privacy Terms of use: https://todorant.com/terms
