About Quran Academy: Quran & Tafsir
Quran Academy is a free app for reading, listening to, and understanding the Quran. Read the Arabic text in Mushaf or verse-by-verse mode. Explore word-by-word meanings, translations, and tafsirs in multiple languages. Download selected translations, tafsirs, and recitations for offline use. The audio player lets you choose a reciter and playback range, repeat individual ayahs, and adjust the recitation speed. Available reciters include Ayman Suwayd, Muhammad Siddiq al-Minshawi, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Mishary Rashid Alafasy, Abu Bakr Al-Shatri, and others. Search the Quran, save ayahs to bookmarks, and share them. Customize the reading mode, theme, font, and text size. CarPlay support makes listening convenient while driving. Quran Academy helps you read, listen to, and better understand the Quran. Attention! No translation of the Quran fully conveys the meaning of this Book, nor can it be used as a substitute. For a deeper understanding of the meaning of the Quran, it is necessary to refer to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah and classical interpretations in Arabic.

What’s new
Version 5.2.1 · Updated September 29, 2026
What’s New: - Updated the audio catalog with new reciters, separate tabs for recitations and audio translations, and grouping by country and language. - Redesigned playback speed controls and added a quick audio translation toggle to the reader’s player. The current ayah number now appears on the lock screen. Recitation speed and repeat settings are also available in the video player. - You can now start playback directly from tafsir: the panel stays open and follows the ayahs being recited. Added repeat options and the ability to cancel audio downloads. - In Ayah of the Day, you can choose a translation and open the ayah in the reader to explore its context. Improved daily notifications; in the Arabic interface, they display the Arabic text. - Improved navigation to ayahs and highlighting after opening search results, bookmarks, or quick navigation. Added fast scrolling to the surah list in the Media tab. - Ayah selection in the Mushaf is now preserved when turning pages. In minimal accents mode, you can hide word-by-word translation underlines. - Fixed overlapping text and ayah markers in the Mushaf, page layout with custom margins, and reading position when rotating an iPad. - Improved app stability, audio playback resumption after pausing, bookmark synchronization, and copying translations for selected ayahs.
