About Astral Hoops
Astral Hoops is the companion app for Atomic V AF products. Connect over Bluetooth and the Astral becomes something you can play, paint, and choreograph. REMOTE Browse 148 built-in patterns with live swatches, then dial in color and speed. Save favorites to the hoop's slots so your go-to looks are a tap away, even with the phone in your pocket. Control several hoops at once and keep them in sync. DESIGNER Turn any image into a persistence-of-vision pattern and send it straight to your Astral. Pull from your photo library, the Community Gallery, or your Astral Cloud library shared with the web Designer. CHOREO *NEW* Import choreography routines from Astral Cloud and run them from your phone, so a whole performance plays out on the hoop exactly as you planned it. UPDATES Install new firmware at the touch of a button. APPLE WATCH *NEW* Change patterns and colors from your wrist with the companion watch app. Astral Hoops works with Atomic V AF models only.

What’s new
Version 2.0.2 · Updated October 28, 2026
Choreography upload to several Astrals at once. Choose which Astral plays each track, then upload everything with one tap. Perform screen. Pick which Astrals join a performance and which routine slot each one plays. Remote stays in sync. It always highlights the pattern that's actually running, including after switching between Astrals. Astral picker on Settings and Motion. Pills at the top let you switch between connected Astrals. Larger text support. The iPhone app now follows your phone's text size setting without clipping. New color picker in the iPhone Designer. Fixes: Clearer error messages when an upload fails. The Atomic V can play factory POV images in a choreography. No more duplicate Astral entries in the list. Admin settings load correctly. Bottom menu icons no longer overlap their labels. Designer upload fix.
