- Ready for iOS 27. - The discussion screen has been rebuilt from the ground up! It is smoother in long conversations. Bubbles, dates, senders, reactions… everything has been redrawn to be even nicer to use. - Double-tap a received message to react with your favourite emoji, or a sent message to edit it. - Your preferred reaction emoji, whether set for all discussions or for one in particular, is kept in sync across all your devices. - You can now select several messages at once and delete or forward them together. - The panel that opens when you tap the + button in a discussion has been completely redesigned. - Tapping a contact's profile picture now shows it large. - Sharing photos, videos, documents and links from other apps into Olvid has been completely redesigned. You now get a single, clearer screen where you pick the profile to send from, choose one or several discussions, preview everything you're about to share, and write an accompanying message. - Swipe between the photos and videos you're sharing, and tap any document to open a full preview before sending. - New HD / SD quality selector when sharing photos and videos, with the estimated size for each option. Standard quality is used by default and your last choice is remembered. - Videos you record directly from Olvid are now captured at a higher quality. - Whenever your device is charging and connected, Olvid now quietly works through any messages still waiting to be processed, so your conversations are up to date the moment you open them. A new screen lets you follow that catch-up as it happens. - Fixed various problems with the download of large attachments: downloads no longer get stuck or end up partly empty, and attachments still being downloaded are no longer discarded when Olvid launches or returns from the background. - You never have to download the same image twice anymore. - Fixed the app icon badge sometimes counting one message too many. - Read and delivery receipts could be lost or delayed; they are now kept until they are sent. - Tapping a reply now scrolls back to the original message again. - Some MP3 audio files could not be played in a discussion; they now play correctly and show their length before you play them. - When sharing your location, the sharing options could appear greyed out with no explanation; the map now tells you why a location cannot be shared yet. - Fixed several problems with the message field, including attachments that could occasionally fail to appear. - Restoring a profile from a backup no longer fails when the App Store is unreachable or subscriptions cannot be checked. - Fixed an issue where you could be warned that your current device was about to be deactivated when it was not. - On iOS 27, typing a code, such as an invitation code, a transfer code or your passcode, could fail to show digits. Fixed. - Fixed a problem on iOS 16 where the share extension could fail to display correctly.
