About Novasail Remote Control App
Novasail Remote Control turns your iPhone and Apple Watch into a wireless remote and live display for your Novasail sailing instrument — NS360 Pro, NS360 Pocket V2, NS-START Pro or NS-START Pocket V2. REMOTE CONTROL Control your instrument from the cockpit: the on-screen keypad mirrors your device's real buttons — timer, mode, start-line pin and boat. Tap for a short press, hold for the alternate action. LIVE NAVIGATION Heading, course over ground, speed, position and VMG, streamed in real time over Bluetooth. WAYPOINTS Load the waypoints stored in your device, create or edit them on the phone in your preferred coordinate format, and send them back. Every mark shows live bearing, distance and VMG. TRACKS Record your navigation and review or export your tracks afterwards. APPLE WATCH The full remote on your wrist: keypad, navigation data and active waypoint — via your iPhone or connected directly to the instrument. MADE FOR SAILING Guard lock and automatic in-pocket lock stop accidental presses. Requires a Novasail instrument with Bluetooth (nova-sail.com).
What’s new
Version 2.0 · Updated September 4, 2026
Novasail 2.0 is a complete redesign of the app, rebuilt from the ground up. • Supports all four Novasail devices: NS360 Pro, NS360 Pocket V2, NS-START Pro and NS-START Pocket V2 • Remote screen matches your device's actual keypad — every button, exactly as printed on the instrument • Live navigation: heading, COG, speed, position and VMG with adjustable wind direction • Waypoints: load them from the device, create or edit them on the phone (several GPS coordinate formats supported), and send them back to the device • Live bearing, distance and VMG-to-mark for every waypoint • Track recording: record your outings and export them • All-new Apple Watch app: keypad, navigation data and active waypoint on your wrist — connects through the iPhone or directly to the instrument • Screen guard lock and automatic in-pocket lock, so spray and fabric never press a button • Device setup from the phone: timer, start line, GPS logger and display options • Faster, more reliable Bluetooth connection with automatic reconnect
