TingXieXie is a dictation and review tool built around word lists you create or import. The app interface is currently in Chinese. MAKE YOUR OWN WORD LISTS Enter words and meanings, paste text, or recognise text in a photo. Check and edit the results, then organise entries into units. You can also scan a QR code to import a word list shared by someone else. The app does not include preloaded practice word lists or a course catalogue. PRACTISE AND REVIEW Have the app read each entry aloud while you write on paper and check your answers, or type answers in the app and compare the results. Add entries that need more work to your review list. Word lists and practice history are stored on your device. SPEECH AND TEXT PROCESSING Standard Speech uses a device voice. Pro offers High-Quality Speech and a higher capacity per unit. High-Quality Speech needs a network connection to prepare audio, which can then be cached on the device. Photo text recognition runs on the device. Automatic translation and optional High-Quality Speech process the relevant text over the network; see the Privacy Policy for details. TingXieXie supports iPhone and iPad. No account is required. Some features require Pro; purchase and Restore Purchases are available in the app. Pro is available as monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your device's subscription settings. The lifetime purchase does not renew.
