What’s new
Version 3.12.9 · Updated October 17, 2026
This update brings the real spine (the side of the box) to the 3D box view, more ways to organize your Collection by region, and the option to mark a wishlist item as bought right from the edit form: - Real spine in the 3D box view The 3D box now shows the actual spine (side) artwork when it exists for that game — today that covers about 11% of the catalog; everything else still uses the default decorative finish. - Spine badge in search Game search now shows a fourth badge (alongside cover, back, and label) indicating when that version has spine artwork available. - Mark a wishlist item as bought When editing a wishlist item, a new "I bought this!" button lets you mark it as owned — confirm it and it moves to your Collection (you still need to tap Save to finish). - More versions on the details screen The version list now also looks up other known editions/regions of the game even when the item isn't linked to IGDB yet, and each row shows what sets that version apart (special edition, regional title) instead of repeating the game's name. - Scanned version highlighted If you got to the details screen by scanning a barcode, the matching version shows up highlighted in its own section among the known versions. - Organize your Collection by region New region filter (with an "Unassigned" option to find items with no region set) and a new "Group by region" sorting option, alongside the existing type and platform groupings. - Search finds more standalone releases Games that ship on their own but are technically tagged as "expansions" in the catalog (e.g. Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Half-Life: Opposing Force) now show up in search even without the "include DLCs" option turned on. - Search considers names in other languages Game search now also takes alternate/regional titles into account, not just the main name. - Fixed platform grouping Grouping by platform era when sorting your Collection didn't work correctly for platforms that already had some cached data from an older app version. - Fixed barcode scanning Fixed a case where scanning a game's barcode wouldn't find any result. - Fixed unnamed platforms in Game Log Some platforms linked to a game showed up as a blank chip (no name) in the Game Log summary's "Platforms" list — they're now hidden instead. - Fixed spine badge for your own copy The spine badge only showed up for search results, not for copies already saved in your Collection — it now shows up in both places.
