What’s new
Version 1.3.0 · Updated October 19, 2026
iExcel v1.3.0 Major Update This release is built around understanding each function, practicing until it sticks, and picking the lesson back up on whatever device is in your hand. 1. Everyday functions, explained: Pages you actually open, such as VLOOKUP, FILTER, SUM, and INDEX, now spell out the idea and the easy mistakes, with more examples to copy. English explanations across the reference are fuller, so a lookup can stand on its own. 2. Tips and lessons you can read in English: All 71 tips and 44 lessons now include English body text, steps, and examples. Change the language and the whole lesson comes with you. 3. A quiz bank worth sitting down for: 22 quizzes now hold 199 questions, 8 to 10 each, with prompts, choices, and explanations in Chinese and English. Choices are mixed, so you practice the idea itself. 4. A Playground with room to experiment: The practice sheet grows from 3 columns by 5 rows to 6 columns by 10 rows. Sample numbers stay where they are. The extra cells are yours. Change one value and the formula answers at once. 5. From the lesson straight into a formula: When a lesson names a related function, tap to try it in the Playground. The formula is already there. Reading and doing share one page. 6. Missed questions open straight into practice: Home tells you when more quizzes still need review. One tap practices only the questions you missed. 7. Continue Learning in Control Center: On iOS 18, put iExcel in Control Center. On a commute, or in the two minutes before a meeting, you land on the page you left. 8. The same page, on your next device: Open a function, tip, or quiz on iPhone, then continue that page on iPad or Mac with Handoff. Your place in the lesson travels with you. 9. Faster from the keyboard, steadier across devices: Shortcuts open Continue Learning, Search, the Playground, and Learning Stats. A deletion syncs to your other devices, and the rest of your learning record stays. On Mac, export uses a save dialog. If a backup cannot be read, or reminders are blocked, iExcel shows the next step. Clear a filter that hid every result in one tap. On iOS 26, the top of a scrolling page fades softly.
