It avoids both literalism and free paraphrase, and aims to communicate clearly and faithfully both the meaning and the literary style of the biblical writings. A team of evangelical translators and linguists led by Alexander Flek worked on this version for 15 years. Since its first publication in 2009, Bible 21 has become widely used among Czech churches and the general public.
