Rabbit Ears is a focused way to discover and watch videos from YouTube. A quiet interface, clear type, and information-rich lists keep the content in front. DISCOVER • Browse popular videos by category and time range. • Search videos, playlists, or channels; sort by relevance, views, or date. • Open videos from channels and playlists, then load another page only when you choose. WATCH • Play video with the YouTube player inside the app. • Read details and comments, and find more videos from the same channel. KEEP IT ON DEVICE • Favorite videos, build local playlists, and revisit your history. • Your library stays on your device and does not sync to a YouTube account. Video plays in the foreground through the YouTube player. Rabbit Ears keeps the screen awake while you watch; it does not download video, extract audio, or provide background playback. Rabbit Ears 2.0 no longer signs in to YouTube. The old app's account areas — Watch Later, Favorites, What to Watch, and YouTube history — depended on APIs YouTube discontinued. Rabbit Ears's on-device library replaces those paths that no longer work. Rabbit Ears shows no ads of its own and never covers or changes the YouTube player; ads served by YouTube play as usual. Rabbit Ears uses the YouTube Data API and YouTube embedded player. It is not sponsored or endorsed by YouTube.
