KNOW THE LIMITS This is a magnetometer app. A changing reading does not identify a metal object, its type or depth. It cannot reliably find gold, silver or every kind of metal, and cannot establish whether drilling is safe. Magnetic cases, speakers, electronics and changes in phone position can affect readings.
