About Circular Bells

Circular Bells is a music app that lets you sit back and relax while you play with its brightly-coloured, ever-changing interface, and uplifting sounds. Move the bells around, create your own layouts, and then hit the button that makes everything float around. Chase the bells, and play your favourite tunes! This app is inspired by the Montessori bells, and by the work of Jeanne Bamberger. Bamberger, J., & Schön, D. A. (1983). Learning as Reflective Conversation with Materials: Notes from Work in Progress. Art Education, 36(2), 68–73. http://doi.org/10.2307/3192667

What’s new

Version 1.1.1 · Updated October 12, 2023

OMG! Two updates in a week, what is this madness?! But a couple of minor inconveniences slipped through the net last time so we want to redress them! Now the bell sound should be shorter and more manageable, and most importantly in tune – it was a semitone off, can you believe it? And the reset button now restores the initial circle arrangement of the coloured circles so there you go. Enjoy!
