sophonz – Remote Terminal

No SSH. No port forwarding. Pick up your own terminal on your phone.

sophonz terminal is a remote terminal, not a remote agent. Your coding agents keep running where they already are: in your own terminal, on your own computer, with your own tools and files. The app opens that terminal from anywhere and tells you what the agents are doing. Leave your PC where it is and keep the work moving from wherever you are.

Set up in a minute
- Install st on your Mac, Linux or Windows computer and run it
- st opens a secure HTTPS tunnel on its own. No SSH server, no open ports, no router settings, no VPN
- Scan the QR code st shows, or sign in and add the computer to your sophonz account. Every computer you add shows up in one list

The terminal you left at home
- Open a tmux, psmux or zellij session and carry on with the same windows, the same scrollback and the agents still at work.
- Each PC is a card with its sessions inside, and each session shows how many devices are viewing it. Tap a session for its window list, tap a window to open the terminal.
- Key bar: Ctrl, Alt, Esc, Tab, arrows, paste, new window, next window and zoom, plus a row with the keys of the agent running in the pane. Labels fit even on small phones
- Long press to select text, copy it, open a link or save the selection as a .md file
- Write long prompts in Compose or dictate them, and send the requests you make often from the terminal menu's quick prompts in one tap.
- With a Bluetooth or USB keyboard the key bar steps aside behind a button, and you can edit the keymaps
- Share text, links or .md files from other apps and they land in the Compose draft of the pane you choose.

What your agents are doing, at a glance
- See which sessions have an agent working, waiting for you or done, down to the subagents and agent teams in each window.
- One Live Update in the status bar and on the lock screen counts what is working and what is waiting, and tells you when everything is done
- When an agent needs input or permission you get a notification right away and can answer from it. One question, one notification, so you don't have to sit in front of your PC.
- Read past notifications again in the notification history
- Tap a session in the Agents or Terminals widget on your home screen to go straight to it.

Documents from your agents
- Ask an agent to send a plan, a summary or release notes with st doc, and read it on your phone, rendered or as raw Markdown. A quick prompt asks for it in one tap
- Keep documents in folders on this device, and read and edit them offline. Save to the computer or to this device; if the computer's copy changed in the meantime, you choose what to keep

- Open a PC to see its Documents and Metrics tiles, with its sessions below.
- Memory, swap, CPU and the last ten minutes of charts for every PC. A machine in trouble gets a note, and you set the thresholds
- A notification when a PC goes offline
- Update st and install or update the agent hooks from your phone

Privacy
Your phone connects to your computer over HTTPS and WebSocket. Notifications are end-to-end encrypted so only this device can open them. No ads, no tracking. Crash reports and performance diagnostics never include terminal content, machine addresses or tokens. Tokens are stored encrypted on the device and never backed up.
