About DeltaSleep

DeltaSleep tracks your sleep phases and snoring — entirely on your device. No
internet connection is ever used. No account required. No data leaves your phone.

WHAT IT DOES
• Detects sleep phases (Awake, Light, Deep) using your phone's movement sensor
• Detects and logs snore events with adjustable sensitivity
• Shows a nightly hypnogram so you can see how you slept
• Exports your data as CSV or JSON — your data stays yours

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
DeltaSleep has no INTERNET permission. It is physically incapable of sending
data anywhere. No analytics. No crash reporting. No telemetry. Everything is
stored in an encrypted local database in your phone's private storage.

HOW TO USE
Place your phone face-down on your mattress, tap Start, and go to sleep. Tap
Stop in the morning to see your results. That's it.

OPEN SOURCE
DeltaSleep is free and open-source software licensed under GPLv3. The full
source code is available on GitHub. You can audit exactly what it does.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED
• Microphone — used only for snore detection while the session is active.
Raw audio is never saved.
• Foreground Service — keeps the tracker running reliably while you sleep.
• Notifications — shows the persistent "recording" notification required by
Android for foreground services.

No location. No contacts. No calendar. No network.
