Lord Ganesha - Ashtavinyak
Maharashtra's Ashtvinayak temple is a holy pilgrimage site for Hindus. It consists of eight Ganesha temples spread across different villages in Maharashtra. Lord Ganesha is worshipped in all temples. Every temple has a unique Ganesha idol. In order to complete the darshan, a particular sequence has to be followed. You should return to the first Lord Ganesha temple after visiting all the Ganesha temples once you have completed your journey to see Ashtvinayak as this marks the culmination of your pilgrimage. Usually, devotees visit the first four Ganesha temples in one day, followed by the last four Lord Ganesha temple in the following day.
