About Manna Niebiańska
"Daily Heavenly Manna" is one of the most popular publications of the Watch Tower publishing house, containing a set of Bible verses for every day of the year along with short fragments of articles from "The Watch Tower". The first editions also included an additional sheet of paper, lined and unprinted, intended for writing down dates of births, anniversaries and other significant events, becoming a lifelong calendar for many readers.
This small book full of spiritual content was compiled in 1905 by the American poet Gertrude Woodcock Seibert (1864-1928), a participant (since 1894) and collaborator of the Bible Students movement. She was the author of numerous poems published in Badaczy publishing houses and many song lyrics.
The "Manna" she edited achieved a circulation of 150,000 only by 1914. copies and only in English! In later years, it was reprinted many times in many language versions. Even today, one hundred and twelve years after its first publication, it is present in many Christian homes and eagerly read, usually before the morning meal.
