Mischbar

The calculator is the product: Select a recipe, enter the target quantity — done. Mischbar provides you with the correct quantities and the true yield for mortar and paint mixtures, on the construction site as well as in the workshop.

QUANTITY CALCULATOR

• 35 basic recipes in five categories: Structural, Screed, Plaster, Paint, Tile Adhesive

• Enter the target quantity, read the exact quantities for each material

• Switchable units: parts by volume, weight, or shovels — just like on the construction site

• Rules of thumb for each recipe, displayed directly with the result

YIELD CALCULATOR
Volume doesn't simply add up when mixing: fine particles and water fill the voids between the grains. The yield calculator uses material volume calculations to show you exactly how much fresh mortar you'll get from your mix — before you mix too little.

OPEN RECIPE ARCHIVE
Drowning craft knowledge, preserved and made accessible: 60 regional recipes from around the world, ten per continent—from Roman pozzolanic mortar to hot lime and Roman cement, to tadelakt, shikkui, tacky rice mortar, and tabby. Includes a searchable recipe list, detailed pages with sources, and an interactive world map of mixing traditions. Mixing ratios not found in historical records are honestly marked as unknown rather than invented.
