About HoHoSkips

HoHoSkips assist citizens and renovation workers in properly disposing of small quantity of construction waste. It provides appointment services, real-time location of collection vehicles, tools for communicating with waste collection personnel, etc. To use the service of HoHoSkips, you can firstly separate your construction waste into inert and non-inert waste. Then, make an appointment and meet our driver at the designated collection point. Finally, place the waste to the weighing scale and make the payment to complete the transaction.
When making an appointment, please note that each service only accepts construction waste no more than half the volume of a skip (about 20 bags or about 1 tonne). Construction waste must be correctly separated into inert and non-inert in advance. Fragmented construction waste must be well-packed in bags, and arrive at the scheduled collection point on time. Each premises can only use the service three times a month. The contract price of the project for the waste-generating site must be less than HKD 1 million. Otherwise, the contractor must open a billing account for using government‘s waste disposal facilities and handle construction waste on its own as required by law.
