Third Eye Background Recorder

Third Eye Background Recorder is a flexible video recording app that lets you keep recording while using other apps or while your screen is turned off.

Use it as a background video recorder with simple controls, front and back camera support, video quality options, and local storage.

Main Features

🎥 Background Video Recording
Keep recording while switching to another app or using your phone normally. The session continues without keeping the full camera interface open.

📱 Screen Off Camera
Continue an active recording after turning off the display on supported Android devices. Third Eye works as a convenient screen off camera recorder for longer recording sessions.

🔒 Closed Camera Recording
Record without keeping the regular camera preview on screen. For closed camera video recording, simply start the session and continue using your device while the camera interface stays closed.

🤫 Hidden Camera Recording
Third Eye provides discreet recording controls when you do not want the camera preview to remain visible. The hidden camera record experience combines quick controls with background operation while following Android system requirements.

🌙 Hidden Camera Screen Off
Start recording and turn off the display on supported devices. The hidden camera screen off feature lets an active session continue without keeping the screen illuminated.

🤳 Front & Back Camera
Switch between front and rear cameras depending on what you want to capture.

🎞️ Video Quality Options
Choose from available resolutions, including Full HD where supported.

🔔 Recording Status
Active recording is shown through the Android notification system, so you can always control an ongoing session.

⚡ Quick Recording Controls
Start and stop recording without opening the full camera interface every time.

Record While Using Your Phone

Third Eye is useful when a standard camera app is inconvenient. Record lectures, presentations, personal notes, travel moments, or longer sessions while continuing to use other apps.

The background video recorder keeps an active recording running when you leave the camera screen.

Screen Off Video Recording

On supported devices, recording can continue after the display is turned off. This makes Third Eye useful as both a screen off video recorder and screen off camera when you do not need the display active.

Closed Camera Experience

You do not need to keep the standard camera interface open throughout the session. The closed camera recording workflow lets you start recording and continue with other supported activities on your phone.

Privacy & Local Storage

Your videos are stored locally on your device.

• No automatic cloud uploads
• Camera access is used only for recording
• Recording is started by the user
• Sessions can be stopped at any time

Third Eye Background Recorder combines background video recording, closed camera video recording, screen off video recording, and hidden camera screen off tools in one simple app.

The app does not bypass Android privacy protections. Camera access, foreground-service behavior, and recording notifications follow applicable Android requirements.
