Miracast & Screen Mirroring

Miracast & Screen Mirroring connects your Android phone or tablet to a TV over your Wi-Fi network, so photos, videos, music and apps on your phone appear on the bigger screen. No cable and no extra hardware are needed.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Connect your phone and your TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. On your TV, switch on screen mirroring. Depending on the brand it may be called Wireless Display, Smart View, Screen Share or Miracast.
3. Open the app and choose your TV from the list of devices it finds.
4. Start mirroring, and stop it again when you are finished.

Your whole screen is mirrored, so whatever you can see on the phone appears on the TV.

SUPPORTED DEVICES
The app works with TVs and adapters that support Miracast or DLNA. That includes many models from Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Hisense and Xiaomi, and Chromecast, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices when the device's own mirroring mode is turned on.

Support varies by model and by Android version. If your TV does not appear in the list, it is usually because the two devices are on different Wi-Fi networks, or because mirroring has not been switched on at the TV.

BEFORE YOU START
- Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
- A VPN running on your phone can stop the connection from being established.
- Picture quality and smoothness depend on your Wi-Fi signal and on your TV. Some delay is normal over a wireless connection.
- Some streaming apps block mirroring of their content because of their own copy protection. That restriction comes from those apps.
