Five cultural routes. Three ways to explore them.
Routes through time, the Hellenic Ministry of Culture app, presents five cultural routes across Greece: the Mycenaean Route, the Road to the West, Via Egnatia, in the Footsteps of Saint Paul, and the Network of Castles.
Each route offers three different ways to tour Greece's culture and heritage. In Journey, a character from the period accompanies you along the route, revealing the story from one stop to the next. In Stories, each stop reveals its own narrative, with free navigation between monuments and heritage sites. At a Glance provides concise overviews and details that often go unnoticed.
The app includes an interactive map and can be used both on-site with GPS and remotely from anywhere. Routes can also be accessed offline once downloaded to your device. Augmented reality (AR) experiences are available at all stops, while selected stops offer immersive 3D experiences. Available in Greek and English. No account required.
