About Votons
Votons helps you get a clear picture of the 2027 French presidential election. No account required, no ads, just minutes: discover the candidates whose views align with yours, explore their profiles, and follow the polls and news.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Affinity Test (swipe) — react to statements presented anonymously (for/against) and get your percentage of agreement with each candidate.
• Candidate Profiles — background, key policies, party, funding, all in one place.
• Ask Votons a Question — ask a question: an AI assistant will answer it using data from the app (automatically generated answers, may contain errors).
NEUTRAL AND INDEPENDENT
Votons is an independent app: no partisan funding, no affiliation with any government, political party, candidate, or institution, which it does not represent. The test questions are anonymized to limit bias: you are judging the ideas, not the labels.
PRIVACY
No account, no ads, no ad tracking. Your answers and results remain on your device.
SOURCES
Votons aggregates information from third-party public sources, each attributed to its origin within the application. The complete list, with links, is available in the application (on the "Sources" screen).
• Polls: Aggregation of surveys published by polling institutes (IFOP, Elabe, Ipsos, Odoxa, etc.), from public compilations — Wikipedia (fr.wikipedia.org), NSPPolls, and ÉlyséeScope. Votons does not conduct any polls.
• News: RSS feeds from French media outlets (Le Monde, Le Figaro, France Info, Le Parisien, L'Opinion, La Croix, Libération, L'Humanité, Le Nouvel Obs, La Tribune, Valeurs Actuelles, Causeur, Mediapart, Acteurs Publics, Public Sénat), Google News, and the candidates' official YouTube channels. • Biographies and photos: Wikipedia (fr.wikipedia.org) and Wikidata (wikidata.org), marked as unverified sources.
• Official data (background, assets, mandates, funding): French and European public bodies — the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life (HATVP) (hatvp.fr), the National Commission for Campaign Accounts and Political Financing (CNCCFP) (cnccfp.fr), the National Assembly (www.assemblee-nationale.fr), the European Parliament (europarl.europa.eu), and the Senate (https://www.senat.fr).
Programs and measures: official websites, programs, and public statements of candidates and parties.
Votons is a citizen information tool provided for informational purposes only. It does not replace official sources regarding candidates' programs or voting procedures.
