The Forecast Alarm app monitors the weather forecast for you and alerts you when the threshold you set is going to be exceeded.
The Forecast Alarm app monitors the following weather model every update (every 6 hours):
- Arome
- Arpege
- Icon
- GFS
- ECMWF
In the free version of the Forecast Alarm app, monitoring is 24 hours. The app uses your GPS location obtained from your phone. So you have to launch the app every time you want to update your GPS location for the forecast to be accurate.
In the paid version of the Forecast Alarm app, advertising is removed, you have access to 72-hour extended monitoring and automatic positioning as well as manual positioning (from a map).
