Got an old phone sitting in a drawer? Guetteur turns it into a standalone alarm system that can watch over a suitcase, a safe, a hotel room or your front door.

Put the phone down, arm it, walk away. At the first intrusion: a piercing siren, a strobe flash, a photo of the intruder and an audio recording.

Basic surveillance needs no connection — no Wi-Fi, no mobile data: Guetteur only uses the phone's own sensors. Perfect while travelling, camping, in a basement, or anywhere with no signal.

Link one or more sentinels to your main phone over local Wi-Fi or its hotspot. Get the alert and the intruder's photo as a notification, arm and disarm remotely, pick the surveillance mode from your pocket. End-to-end encrypted, device to device: no server, no cloud. Silent alarm and photo burst included.

• Suitcase / Bag — detects any movement of your luggage

You don't configure sensors: you pick what you want to protect. Guetteur enables the right combination for you.

■ BUILT AGAINST FALSE ALARMS
During the exit delay, the app measures ambient noise, light and vibration, then calibrates its thresholds to that environment. A noisy air-conditioned room and a silent safe don't share the same baseline. You can also require two different signals before anything goes off.

■ SECURE DISARMING
PIN code or fingerprint. A configurable entry delay gives you time to type your code. Three wrong codes trigger the alarm immediately.

No account, no server, no cloud, no analytics, no ads. The network permission is used only for the encrypted link between YOUR own phones on your local network (Pro option): your photos and recordings travel from your sentinel to your main phone, and nowhere else — never to us.

■ MADE FOR OLD PHONES
Works from Android 6.0 up. A pre-arming check verifies battery, volume and permissions. Sensors your device lacks are clearly flagged, so you always know what is actually being watched.

■ INTENDED USE
Guetteur is meant to protect your own belongings and your own spaces, using a phone you own. It is neither designed nor permitted for monitoring another person without their knowledge.
