Temari.et

Temari.et is an all-in-one education app for Ethiopian students (especially those preparing for the Grade 12 entrance exam), parents, teachers, tutors and schools, in your own language. Students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 study and practise in it, parents follow their children's school, and teachers and school employees do their daily work from their phone. Studying is free for students.

For students
• Today's session on your home screen: one chapter a day to watch, practise and review.
• A study plan that follows your exam date, and a level for every chapter you practise.
• New curriculum textbooks, short chapter notes, revision cards with the key formulas, and flashcards that bring back what you keep getting wrong.
• Thousands of video lessons, arranged by grade and subject.
• Practice questions chapter by chapter for every grade from Grade 1 to Grade 12.
• Temari AI answers in your language, explains a photo of a question, and helps you plan what to study.
• Students whose school uses Temari.et also see their own marks, attendance, timetable and homework.

Exam preparation for Grade 6, Grade 8 and Grade 12
• Grade 12 entrance exam (matric): 300+ Grade 12 papers, made up of past entrance exams from 1996 to 2018 EC, mock exams and practice sets, for the Natural and Social Science streams: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Aptitude, Economics, Geography, History and Citizenship Education.
• Grade 6 and Grade 8: past Grade 8 and Grade 6 exam paper and mock exams for both, with answers.
• Sit a paper timed like the real exam, or practise at your own pace.
• See the answers when you finish, and ask Temari AI to explain any question step by step.

For parents
• See your child's marks, report cards, attendance and fees, as the school shares them.
• Message your child's teachers and the school, and get a notification when something needs you.
• Follow all your children in one place, even when they are at different schools.

For teachers
• Take attendance and enter marks, even without a connection. They are sent when you are back online.
• See your classes for the day, and write lesson plans in the standard format Ethiopian schools use.
• Message parents and students.

For directors and school employees
• Directors and principals see the school's day at a glance and approve what is waiting for them: marklists, lesson plans, leave and expenses.
• Registrars handle registration, enrollment and attendance.
• Finance officers follow fees, record payments and see who still owes.
• Storekeepers look after stock, requests and school assets.

For tutors
• Tutors apply to teach on Temari.et with their subjects, grades and hours.

Made for Ethiopia
• The Ethiopian calendar throughout, your own language on every screen, and low data use on slow networks.
• One account for every role you have: a teacher who is also a parent switches between the two.
