About Bussi

Bussi is the On-Demand Shuttle by Ruhrbahn GmbH – you order and pay right in the app. Bussi complements the existing bus and tram offering in the evening and night time.

Bussi takes you in comfort from A to B; on the journey you will share the vehicle with other passengers who have a similar route. This saves resources and is good for the environment.

With Bussi you always travel at a good rate because the price is based on the kilometre air distance and always corresponds to the shortest distance. You can easily pay for your ride in the Bussi-App. The price is based on VRR pricing and is further reduced if you have a valid VRR ticket.

This is how it works:

1) Enter your desired pickup and dropoff (through your GPS location, by entering an address or by setting a pin on the map)

2) Indicate the number of passengers and ticket

3) Accept proposal (the final price will be indicated in the proposal before you book)

4) Enter a Bussi and get to your destination (you can track the arrival of your vehicle in the Bussi-App)

5) Payment is processed digitally in the app right after the ride
